A very good and farmable rare for a Fire Knight team is Diabolist.

I use Hollow, a Void rare, as one of TM controllers. He a four-hitter which will drop the TM by 15% on each hit, effectively keeping the Fire Knight's TM at a standstill..

On my alt i use Deacon in the lead with around 205 speed. Have an Alure at around 250 and Coldheart at 200. The rest is is great to have a provoker on a 3 turn cooldown at around 210ish (i have Maulie) and a poisoner/healer/damage dealer depending on what you need (i have BeK). Works 100% of the time.

Phantom touch is great too for hits against the shield, my team is my deacon (clan boss build but works) double coldheart both with phantom touch, visix and ninja. Still farm 20, have cleared 25 on manual on a slow team.

In my FK20 team Armiger keeps the turnmeter down by himself. He just needs Evil Eye proccs to get started. I do not use Alure because her affinity gives her a disadvantage in that stage.

I use Artak as my main wave clearer. I have fellhound but Havent build him up nearly as much as my artak. Maybe over time ill switch over to someone better but for now my artak attacks very hard with A1 A2 and A3

Once Gnut joined my main account roster, I could use Cold, Royal Guard and drop Fellhound for my first ever run without using it.
