She literally comes across as the most likable and socially adjusted person out of all of them.  It's not the subject matter that makes you a nerd really.  It's how you act about it.  There's love and liking something and there's being utterly annoying and a pain in the ass to deal with in terms of nerdom.

Katie is both one of the most stylish and prettiest nerds of season 2. Her and Mary-Kate. :D

I was in a tv audience, for one of the challenges, and this girl was definitely my favorite.
