I flew to Toronto to see this band in a bar that can only be described as the textbook definition of a hole-in-the-wall, and they put on the best performance I have ever seen. I'm still young, like real young, and I've only just started leaving home with the express purpose of seeing bands and immediately returning but if I could only recommend one band to you, I would put my heart into telling you about Pinegrove. For the record, they were as excited to see me as I was to see them.

Pinegrove has zero bad songs. I struggle to think of another artist who has shown the same consistency in songwriting quality, and they JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER

They were supposed to play this local bar, promoter was being a weenie, so a buddy of mine got them into this church and we sat in the pews and watched a fucking killer set. It was awesome

Love Pinegrove and this rendition of New Friends. Hopefully they will have a long career with many albums. My only critic for them is sometimes they have a great hooks inside just OK songs (e.g the cool uptempo riff inside Recycling), but I think they have a potential to pen excellent songs and albums.

I'm not a fan of country. Apart from the New Vegas soundtrack, but this guys make the country voice sound dope. Really like these guys so far
