How To Toggle Or Turn On/Off Worksheet Protection In Excel

Things can become frustrating if you need to enter password every time you protect and unprotect any worksheet. How about running a macro to that? Or a custom keyboard shortcut to unlock and lock your worksheet. No more hassle. Just press the custom keyboard shortcut and your sheet is unlocked and ready for you to edit. When you are done, press the keyboard shortcut to lock it again. Now lets heed straight to the procedure.

Step 3: Click "Insert" and then "Module"
Step 5: Close the VBE Editor
Step 6: Click on the Macro Button or Press ALT + F8.
Step 8: Now click ok and either press the keyboard shortcut or run the macro from the macro button to toggle sheet protection.
Done. You have successfully created a macro that can turn on/off sheet protection smoothly.
