Wow looks so beautiful! Currently traveling myself in the southern U.S.. Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington are all in the plans for 2022! Traveling the country with my pup out of the back of my car, not much better than that

Asheville is great for tourists, but getting worse and worse for people living here BECAUSE of tourists. Prices for rent are some of the highest in the country, and house prices are sky high too. Most of the jobs here pay absolute shit wages and demand far more of workers than they should. I personally know multiple friends that have had to move out of asheville because working 2-3 jobs in asheville wasn't enough to afford an apartment or house in asheville.

There's some sort of irony where the city actively pushes out its tourism workforce in favor of more tourism. At some point the city will crash and burn due to it only being inhabited by the rich retirees that don't need to work, and the tourists that come to tour stores with no workers.

Thanks for sharing this, Allison! I live in Nashville, TN, and am from the Asheville area. You went to a few of my favorite places AND introduced me to so many new places to try next time I’m visiting family. Excited to see your upcoming travel content! 😊

I remember when Asheville was really a little mountain town. Not so much now since the traffic is horrendous.

Born and raised in Asheville, liked your video, We have some great things but not for the people trying to live and survive here.We are being priced out from where we live. To top it off a major homeless and Drug problem, no affordable housing. So just remember "All that glitters is not gold."

That's my home city. Glad you got to see it in the snow.

I just moved to Hendersonville 10 months ago, and I am not even finished exploring asheville. Thanks for making the video now I have someplace to go in the summer.

Love the Salt Cave! And nature as a whole here is so refreshing. Left the big city years ago to live more

Never really thought about visiting Asheville, NC until watching your video. I love wellness, spas, and tea. Definitely going to plan a visit!

For anyone interested in visiting, Appalachian is pronounced "App-Uh-Latch-In." "App-Uh-Lay-Shun" is incorrect.

I love Asheville there is so much to do. Everyone in your group will love it! There's a music scene, a wellness scene (as you see here), an art scene, the Blueridge Parkway for those hikes in the Pisgah National Forest and the variety of so many foods and drinks are to die for.
For my travel bucket list 2022 I have been there so many times before but Ocracoke Island on the Outer Banks in North Carolina. It's a small quaint Island village that is only assessable by ferry boat or private plane or boat.
