Palma Nova is a brilliant resort, there really is something for everyone.

The Son Matias beach wasn't much to talk about before 1998 (?) when the big Palmanova beach renovation took place. Enormous amounts of sand were brought from somewhere to enlarge all the beaches and the promenades were created. In the days of the small beaches in the 1980s there were often so many people on the beach that the next person lay 20 inches from you.

It's nice to see Monroe's, where I began my "career" in the early 90s. I'll email Andy and ask if he's still working there when I come in August.
