You can mount the tire on the rim of the spare tire and it'd go maybe an inch out...the chrome rims are very wide and that's what's spreads the tire

The sedona comes with a tire cover to put around your flat so it doesn't get your vehicle dirty.

Send a camera underneath and see if there are foam blocks as support. If so, could consider removing them and see if tire now fits. Please let me know - I'm thinking of buying a more recent used Sedona, and can't find out why they wouldn't allow a full-size spare.
