Unless you’re going for the kill, I really don’t advice Q canceling with W. W is vlads only way to get out of sticky situations and it has a mongo CD.

Don't q while you're channeling e, when you release e immediately use q and it'll be faster

Those are the basic combo everyvlad player should know but there are some other advanced combos like :
E + flash + red Q + R + ignite + W + proto
And it should be done in less than 0.5 secs and this combo let u one shot any Adc and supp if nearby or some midlaners and junglers . And if u have over 900ap and void staff and infernal soul u can delete at least half hp of a tank with more than 250 MR with just E and red Q . Its better to pick electrocute against squishy champ or phase rush if more than 2 tanks . Some other advanced plays, items, runes u will be able to know once u master vlad and know its limits .

Press R on enemy ADC/Supp or if they are in same area, save your W and kite using your Q E during clash, Vlad is 1v9 machine in late game, I main him along with Zed, but I prefer Zed more cause of sick outplays xd

if you are fast enough, it is possible to Q R and still get the damage increase on Q.

Also you can cancel and Q animation with E. You shouls juse e and q when you release it
