I was a very naive young woman of 22 when I visited San Francisco with my boyfriend in the late 70s. I couldn’t understand why none of the men were staring at me and/or catcalling me, because that had always happened everywhere else I went. 😂

And now San Francisco is the greatest city in America! A tiny town house costs $3mil and you’re free to shit on the sidewalk as you please! And taxes are less than 100% of your income. Paradise on the west coast!

Oct 6th, 2024,I went to the Castro street without knowing it’s the 50th street celebration, An dressed up old man came in front of me, I suddenly felt so nervous even didn’t know how to start a conversation, I had a crush on him for sure, after a singing performance, I felt upset before leaving…but still I walked away expecting that he could say something to me, unfortunately, I lost him in the crowd…. God, I am actually brave in many ways but not in front of someone that I like, sorry
