Well it was time to replace subs so we went for some new drivers and we will do some test over time at gigs to see how they go!

Best sub for the ls801p box is the b&c tbx 100 it perfectly matches the amp module in the yorkville

Cool to see a driver swap on these. I was gona try some of my McCauley 6174s in the box to see how they sound vs OE driver.similar power handling and higher xmax, efficiency and lower FS might be a winning combo.

The Faital Pro 18XL1600 or the Celestion CF18VJD will sound good in the Ls801 box
I have the new Yorkville Es18P I did a little experiment 🔬 and it turn out that the box sounds((( a bit better and different 👊

i had my 801p go and i put in fatial pro hp1030 and it hits lower then the orig. someone told me that 18 sound is over kill for the power the amp can put out

Nice, but does this plate amp put out 1600 watts rms ?

I don’t think the amp is strong enough, for that 4000watts drive.
