Yola performs a cover of Elton John's “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” at Farm Aid 2019 at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin, on September 21.

Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid’s board of directors in 2001.

Farm Aid’s performances are donated by the artists in order to raise funds and raise awareness for family farmers. They’ve raised their voices to help — can we count on you to stand with us and pledge your support?

This cover should have 65 million views not 65 thousand. She covered it beautifully!!!

Monster cover. The falsetto of “blueees” to the growl of “can’t plant me in your penthouse “ gave me the chills

Spaceballs: "She's a bass!" Not quite, but she gets right down in the baritone range, and I LOVE her voice! Chills.

Wow, love this! Lucky me I've seen her twice, first at the Americana Awards in a tiny Hackney venue a few years ago, then at Red Rooster Festival. This is just amazing, I am not an Elton fan but appreciate the superb songwriting. When that comes together with Yola's voice and the feeling she gives it, I don't think it can be beaten!

Hands down, one of the best singers out there and one of the best live performers, too. Saw her in Seattle seven months ago and like many have said, it was a religious experience plus she’s super funny and intelligent. Gorgeous woman, too.

Her version of this, and just listening to her in general, is a religious experience. Lucky f'ing audience and I'm not sure they are appreciating this the way it should be appreciated lol. The hair on my arms is standing up. I can't.

I recently saw Yola live and she performed the Elton John song live. It sounds so good live. What a fantastic singer. Her live shows are a must see. If you can get a ticket to them since they have been selling out here in the US :P.
