Ather 450 Apex - A Truly Special Edition - First Ride Review

The Ather 450 X has been out favourite electric scooter in India, thanks to its consistent performance and incredible, almost motorcycle-like, handling. But to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary, Ather has launched a limited edition of the 450 in the form of the Ather 450 Apex. The Apex represents the pinnacle of what’s possible with the 450 platform.

Not only does it feature a brilliant new colour scheme comprised of an incredible new shade of blue with contrasting orange accents, it also gets clear blue rear panels. But this limited edition isn’t just about aesthetics. Ather has bumped up the peak power of the motor, introduced a new riding mode called Warp+ (allowing the Apex to accelerate from 0-40kmph in just 2.9 seconds) and its top speed has now been increased to 100kmph.

To slow things down, the 450 Apex also gets advanced regenerative braking in the form of “Magic Twist” - a more comprehensive reverse throttle that in theory allows riders to ride in traffic without using the brakes at all.

Ather will continue to manufacture the 450 Apex till October 2024 with a price tag of Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru, without FAME 2 subsidy)

Guys switch to Ultraviolette F77 limited edition. It's Combat real world range is 210km. Great torque and leaves you mesmerized with the feel of owning an electric superbike.

ather shoud work on features that will help common people. ather is a premium product and cost is not a big deal. but they shoud work on more range.
