"It has no technology in it whatsoever, except what it needs to make it run."
I'm sold.

5.5 second 0-60 is laughable? Damn, I must be getting old.

This car represents the era when we, as kids and young adults, absolutely lusted after our favorite "cool" muscle cars of the day. They were attainable, if you saved, and you didn't have to finance them for 10 years in order to pay them off. I fell in love with the Z-28 in the mid 90's after seeing them driven by people that I thought were cool. I still have my '99 Z-28 to this day, and don't plan on selling it.

Hoovie super jealous of high-school Camaro owners; drove a Mercedes-Benz.

Its not junk, getting sick and tired of the 4th gen hatred from posers

Every single Hoovie video ever: This is why I love this car and it's the best car ever. Now that it is finally sorted, I will be hanging onto it for a long time.
One week later: So I am selling this car to buy a 1960s E class with 240k miles

I've had several 1993 to 2002 Camaro's, and I have enjoyed them all, even the V-6's are fun to drive, inside look cheap? yep, feels cheap? yep, fun as hell to drive, hell yep.

"It cost way too much money" says the guy that spent tens of thousands of dollars on continual Mercedes Benz and BMW repairs. :)

Hoovie “if it breaks I can probably fix it myself”

Entire YouTube community cracks up laughing

Definitely Not Junk. These are amazing versions of the Z28. I have a '94 with T-tops and it is the most enjoyable muscle car I have ever owned. Looking for a second one at this time. Love this Gen.

There’s a lot of junk exotics too, at least this thing is affordable

"The 5.5 second 0-60 with 275 HP is pretty much laughable nowadays"
Spoken like a man with money, and the will to spend it on brand new cars.

Hoovie: These are easy to fix.

Every LT1 owner: laughs while elbow deep in optispark and spark plug changes. Bloody knuckles and all.

I fell in love with that car along with the Firebird when they first came out in 1993. Absolutely a huge improvement over the previous gen, especially the "Vette" drivetrain. Just came out after I got out of high school and was in basic training. One of my drill sargents had one and he would drive it to whatever activity we had going that day. I remember day dreaming and fantasizing every time I saw that car. I think the perfect muscle car of that era would have been a Camaro exterior with a Firebird interior.
