If you have trouble with shapes, just think of a way to remember them. For hexagon, my math teacher taught us hex, six. Another example could be the five Great Lakes. I was taught to use H.O.M.E.S to remember it. H - Huron, O - Ontario, M - Michigan, E- Erie, S - Superior. The best part about this is… I’m not sure if it’s actually Huron for H.
