McStay the course: Dan's journey through two devastating knee injuries

After injuring his MCL in the 2023 Preliminary Final at the MCG, Dan McStay injured his ACL in the 2024 pre-season. With his 2024 season appearing complete before it even started, Dan showed more ambition than most.

As a brisbane supporter it hurt losing that grand final but it also hurt knowing D-mac wasn't part of it, he's a tremendous player and I wish we still had him. I've missed out on playing 3 straight grand finals in local footy and even that hurts a lot so i couldn't imagine missing out on an AFL grand final especially on the winning side.
