I am a nuclear Engineer from Germany, if those cobalt 60 rods were actually real the old home owner would have died just because of being near the container.
Also the camera would actually complete blurr out and look "fuzzy" from 3-4 metres away.
The "effect" in the video is actually a filter, radiation doesn't make the camera look like an old tv.

For those who don’t know this right here is a famous video that basically showcase a family playing with uranium cylinders, but this video is what percent fake and is not real it’s just golden metallic cylinder with a radioactive symbol carved into it, but if the family were to hold an actual uranium cylinder, it would be tragic. You see holding a uranium cylinder is very dangerous and could rise people getting radiation poisoning, cancer, and/or birth defects as being dangerous for someone who is pregnant and if the kid were to hold it, they will end up being in the hospital suffering from extreme amounts of radiation poisoning, because uranium being the element within the earth actually is the ingredient for making nuclear bombs nuclear power plants and radiation, but they’re very dangerous to all the things of life because there are so high and radiation that they kill every single thing on earth places with hypersensitive uranium, including in Chernobyl, for example, including the city of prypat with the population around 0% as of 2020 due to high index of radiation and how it’s life less in the city, which became a post-apocalyptic wasteland in real life and there used to be large rumors and reports of mutated life and animals that exposed the radiation babies, animals being born with the formalities, and so on and the moral of the story is do not touch uranium cylinders because they’re highly dangerous at all cost, but if you see one where a hazmat suit and dispose of it
