Noodler's Ink Miser - Good till the Last Drop

This week, Tom shows how to get the most out of your Noodler’s inks with our newest addition to the Weekly Dip special - The Noodler’s Ink & Ink Miser “Good till the Last Drop” pen and ink set. The clear plastic Ink Shot allows you to draw out inks from a severely depleted bottle and place it in a free-standing, travel-size inkwell that is conveniently shaped to allow for your pen nib to extract the fluid with ease. We also show how to play with your colors and mix inks together to create new hues. The intra-bottle inkwell inserts into a standard 3oz Noodler’s Ink bottle to allow easy access to your ink that left in the bottle. Never waste another drop!

I have one of these in translucent plastic. Because the base is small, I glued it to a small rectangle of plexiglas to prevent it tipping over. I consider the resulting construct a must-have for anyone filling fountain pens or dip pens from a bottle.

Very clever accessories! It would be great to have a cap for the standing ink-well so we can go to sleep and wake-up the next day and still have farm-fresh ink from our mixing session. I'm going to visit the rest of your site now. :)

Thanks for the video. Thirty minutes ago before watching this I mixed English Roses with Habanero in an italic and got just a shade or two more brown. Just came to check out your combos and like, keep it up!

I use an old glass shotglass in the same way they show the ink meiser. It is heavy and stable.

8:09 The Ink Miser Intra-Bottle Inkwell seems to be a very neat accessory. I've got a couple of Noodler's bottles and I keep having to guess/test whether the nib's been properly submerged before I start turning the converter — both inks are dark ones (brown and bulletproof black).

when you use the pipette I suggest that you squeeze the top before you put it in the ink bottle at all, so you can squeeze it as much as you want, as fast as you want

I would think using an in k syringe in stead of a pipette would be better for mixing inks. If you like the mix, measuring on the syringe how much of each color was used, you can duplicate it for use at a future date
