2017 Super Boat Key West Boat Crash

During the running of the 37th annual Key West World Championship, Race 3 (Friday), CT Marine 18 comes over the top of CMS 3. Driver and throttleman of both boats quickly reported to be okay.

Man that passenger side prop absolutely shredded the top half of their hatch. If you've ever seen or touched those props (cleaver) in person, they're basically razor sharp.

Similar thing happened at Coffs Harbour in Australia.
1 boat dropped a prop in front of the other boat, lost speed and other boat ran over the top.
It's possible the lead boat drop the right prop causing it to turn right and lose speed.
The result would be the same.

I saw Miss Geico one time in 2018 or 19 at the Fort Lauderdale Air Show with the Blue Angels, and since then I watched Super Boat Races, I watch it every once in awhile and I love the Wrecks as long as no one’s hurt.
