“It’s scary and it hurts like hell but once everything happens it’s unbelievably cool” Lorelai Gilmore
and you guys will be great parents!

One of my worst fears was giving birth, after doing it, I would do it again. My advice, take the day minute by minute and know that each step in the process will pass and you will be rewarded with a beautiful baby at the end of it all. Women wouldn’t have multiple children if birth was THAT bad 🙂 you can do it, Mama!

Thank you for giving awareness to ALS. My Mother-in-law, her sister and my husbands great great uncle died from ALS. It was horrible to watch my mother-in law and her sister go through such an awful disease. It was just as bad watching the emotions my husband and his father went through. We need to educate more people about ALS and raise more money to END ALS NOW. Thank You Again Every little bit helps.

It is scary. I think mostly because its something completely unknown to you. You'll be surprised how much your body will know what its doing. You'll do so great, dont stress over details. All that matters is that she arrives safely. Once shes here, the rest will seem like a blur.

Oh allie, you’re going to do great. I know it’s hard to not be scared but you’ll do so amazing! I’ve had two kiddos and thought about making videos about my experience, if I do I’ll let you know so maybe you can watch. I’m so excited for you guys.

I don’t think there’s a woman in the world that isn’t terrified of labor. Even after they’ve gone through it multiple times.
The epidural helps a lot. But some of the things that helped me through labor are a big exercise ball (helped baby move down and relieve pressure off you know where) and hot showers. I just moved a chair into the shower and stayed there until the hot water ran out. (Numerous times)
But ultimately our minds and our bodies are stronger than we think they are.
Just remember there are pain relief options available that are safe and there’s no reason not to take full advantage of them.
You guys are a great team which will help tremendously throughout your labor.
You got this Allie (and Char) 💞

My dogs spend the autumn (fall) grazing the blackberry bushes in the hedgerows. One climbs into our apple tree to eat apples, and they all love banana skins. I never had a fussy eater.
Love you guys 🤗

Allie, have you thought about getting poise pads? That might help with the leaking when laughing. And I agree with Char, I see a 4th of July baby.

I was terrified of birth too, but it’s not that bad. Pain wise I think it was an 8/10, drug free. Labor fucking sucks. It felt like my organs were being corkscrewed. The actual birth part was a breeze. It felt good to push and didn’t hurt. It stung for a second when she got pulled out, but I didn’t have the burning feeling. Without drugs the pain stops on a dime. I was in labor for about 5 hours so I was lucky. There’s an interesting birthing class video (one or two I forget) on YouTube that my husband and I watched that was very helpful. Definitely do your research, but remember at the end of the day that baby girl will do whatever the hell she wants! Lol just gotta go into it with no expectations. It’s not that bad, you’ll both be great!

No don’t lie to her! Haha my birthday is on 4th of July and my parents told me that the fireworks were for me, until I figured out the truth!!

It's fear of the unknown, honestly. You know it's going to hurt, but you don't know how. I remember being really frightened very early on in my pregnancy, then it went away until near the birth. When you're actually in labour it's better, because then you know what you're dealing with. :)

My husband’s birthday is July 4th, and he has always loved celebrating his birthday with all the 4th events and fireworks. I have always called him my independent baby. Allie, it is so normal to be scared of labor and delivery. It is scary and very hard, but you are so strong and so determined to bring this baby into this world safe. You can do this, just listen to your body and stay calm. Love y’all ❤️❤️ ❤️❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I think your baby will have a bit of both of you. She'll have Allie's goofiness, & sharpness (she's been in training for it for almost 9 months), but I think she'll also have Charle's naiveness, & sense if humor. She'll definately love animals & be creative because of Allie's artistic ability & Charles musical talent. Wth, the fireworks on the 4th of July aren't for Diesel??? Nooo say it isn't so. I think baby Trippy's birthday will be July 7. (Those fireworks have to be for Diesel.) Marley is a Jack Russel, they do eat anything. Notice that as they walk their nose is almost always on the ground hoping to vacuum something up.

Hey Allie, all first time mom's are scared. I know I was. But the minute you see your beautiful baby you totally forget about all your fears and any pain you may have been in. it's worth it. To this day I still can't believe i'm a mom. I never thought I could have a baby because of medical reasons. I don't talk about it much but I only have 1 ovary because of a major surgery I had to get at 3 months old. So I never thought I could have children. and my daughter is my miracle baby. she' 3 years old now just turned 3 on May 28th and I still wake up thinking "wow i'm a mom."

Allie I’ve had three natural labour’s and my best advice I can give you is breath. I took hypno birthing with my last two babies and focusing on long slow breaths and keeping your body relaxed is the best thing. It’s ok to be scared it’s natural but just know you can do it! Positive vibes only don’t listen to horror stories of births listen to your body and only think about what makes you relaxed and happy. Picture that happy place in your head and you will get through it. Xoxox you guys are going to be amazing parents
