Στο χάος βυθίζεται η τουρκική οικονομία, καθώς οι αποφάσεις που παίρνει η τουρκική κυβέρνηση, ωθούν και σήμερα σε πτώση, τη συναλλαγματική ισοτιμία της τουρκικής λίρας, έναντι του αμερικανικού δολαρίου και του ευρώ.
Αναλυτικότερα, αυτή τη στιγμή που γράφεται αυτό το άρθρο, στις 14:15 το μεσημέρι, και σύμφωνα πάντα με την ιστοσελίδα του bloomberg, ένα δολάριο αντιστοιχεί σε 14,30 τουρκικές λίρες, που αυτό σημαίνει, μία πτώση της τάξεως του 3,46%, από την χθεσινή τιμή κλεισίματος της.
Αυτό όμως που προκαλεί εντύπωση είναι πως μέχρι στιγμής δεν έχει γίνει κάποια παρέμβαση της τουρκικής κεντρικής τράπεζας, έτσι ώστε να πουληθούν δολάρια και να αγοραστούν λίρες και να επέλθει μία βελτίωση στην τιμή της ισοτιμίας.
Αντιθέτως μάλιστα, αν σκεφτεί κάποιος ότι χθες πραγματοποιήθηκε ευρεία σύσκεψη του Τούρκου προέδρου Ταγίπ Ερντογάν, με τον κεντρικό τραπεζίτη, τον υπουργό οικονομικών, διοικητές τραπεζών, κλπ., μπορεί ίσως και να υποπτευθεί, ότι τα συναλλαγματικά αποθέματα της Τουρκίας, που διατηρούσε το κράτος, τελείωσαν.
Που αυτό σημαίνει φυσικά, ότι δεν υπάρχει πια κανένα φρένο για τον κατήφορο της τουρκικής λίρας.
Ειδικά μάλιστα, όταν σήμερα είναι Τρίτη και την Πέμπτη, δηλαδή μεθαύριο αναμένεται να ανακοινωθεί, περαιτέρω μείωση των επιτοκίων, αφού ο δρόμος που διάλεξε ο Ταγίπ Ερντογάν είναι μονόδρομος.
Και όλα αυτά ενώ μπαίνει ο χειμώνας στην Τουρκία και οι πολίτες θα χρειαστούν περισσότερα χρήματα, ώστε να παραμείνουν ζωντανοί από το ψύχος.
Οπότε, αν αυτό δεν είναι βύθισμα στο χάος, τότε ποιο είναι...;

Especially when today is Tuesday and Thursday, that is, the day after tomorrow, a further reduction of interest rates is expected to be announced, since the path chosen by Tayyip Erdogan is one-way.
And all this while winter is coming to Turkey and the citizens will need more money to stay alive from the cold.
