HOW TO DO IT WITH THE NEW STEAM UI

You have to start the download in Steam, then cancel it, however the download won't stop completely now, so you'll have to right click the game in your Steam library and click Uninstall, then you put all the files from Epic Games folder into the folder created by Steam, and then you click install again, and select the same path as before.

DO NOT CLICK UNINSTALL WITH YOUR FILES IN THE FOLDER, IT WILL ERASE THEM

i own GTA on both Rockstar games launcher and Steam. I currently have 2 gta installations in order to play on both my online characters (not at the same time). It works fine but is a drain on my drive space. Any way i can use the same directory for both so i can delete the 2nd directory copy of the game?
