This pre-recorded trainings session is much better then all the previous sessions.
Clear sound and very good readable on screen. The table of content is also good thinking. Thanks for this session and looking forward to the next session.
Quark 2015 is top.

Hi Mark, luckily only Calibre showed the text columns wrong. So either experiment with non-fractional point sizes, non-fractional leading, single boxes vs. text chain and so on. Test these and if you can find out what devices or viewing software your customers use, use exactly these combinations.

Excellent webinar. Thais answers a lot of questions I had about animation and reflow. Many thanks.

+Beata No, not yet, it is on the roadmap. And as far as I know there is no iBooks previewer from Apple.

This is the newest video on your channel about ebooks. Has Quark had significant advancements in the 2-3 years since this video was made?

OK, so at 16:42 into this video (which is session ONE), MG suddenly refers to 'an existing print-lay-out'. The video therefore skips the crucial section how to set up a text lay-out that follows the first page, particularly if it is not one page (as in the YouTube video) but many pages as in a book. Question 1. Can you please direct me to the video or instructions how to do this? Or can you import an existing Qxp file that was not created from the start as an ePub file? Question 2. In the video MG refers to "webinars 9 or 10" so it is hard to understand how this can be session ONE. Can you please make these available so the entire video can be understood?

In case you struggle with images in docs: I have noticed that if you default settings is 'grey images' (yes, the settings was on since Xpress 10 was so slow), Images will turn up as grey boxes in your epub (Xpress is not looking at the documents settings)

Thanks it made a lot of things clear(er) and made me recall old lessons. I like the new training format. BUT fixed layout ePubs are still a major disappointment regarding lack of compatibility. How would you sort out those text columns that wouldn't display in Calibre or Sigil, for example?

Hi - these are great but I want to convert a print layout to a fixed layout ePub - at 26.06 it shows how, but when I try to do it, my 'fixed layout' button is greyed out and won't let me do anything. What to do to enable that, please?

Thank you for that class. Is it also possible to export Quark XP Book into reflowable epub? And the second question: if I don't have iPad at hand, is there a tool to preview how my ebook will look on an iPad?

Can I create an epub layout from an existing print layout so that I can modify the epub layout in QXP?

What do you mean by "faux" styling--from the recap?
