Alliance University marked the 76th Republic Day with a meaningful celebration. The event began with Mr Shaila G. Chebbi hoisting the national flag, followed by a march past and the Alliance flag hosted by Vice-Chancellor Dr Priestly Shan.
Dr Shan highlighted the adoption of the Constitution in 1950 and the Poorna Swaraj resolution of 1930, emphasising the importance of preserving India's heritage while embracing progress. Key announcements included the "India Requires Solutions" course launch in February 2025, research initiatives, skilling centres, and plans for Olympic sports infrastructure by 2030.
Student achievements were also recognised: Anuranan Gogoi was honoured for competing in Powerlifting at the national level, and Thirumaal Rajen S.R. was honoured for winning the Archery State Championship.
Alliance University reaffirmed its commitment to the nation's aspirations for 2047.
