This was a very clear tutorial, and not too much chatter at the beginning as some YouTube videos do. I just bought a kumihimo kit at a consignment shop and am very excited to get started!

I did enjoy it! Surprisingly enough. I got through it all too. Now, I'm actually doing it!💋❤️🇺🇲🙏✝️❤️🇺🇲🇺🇲🙏✝️. Makes a nice little soft cuff for my sore wrists.❤❤❤, ✝️.

Nice tutorial. Just a suggestion though. Wrap some tape around the cord next to where you plan on cutting it. That will help keep everything in place just in case it starts to unravel on you and help keep it all tight. Alternatively you can also add a bit of glue to the side and let it dry before you cut. That way it stays tight and keeps its shape for when you glue it into the end caps.

What an easy to follow video tutorial, thank you. What kind of glue does one use?

I Love the Video as I was struggling to make Kumihimo though this Video has helped me crack it.

I'll have to price the kit that you talked about, and maybe buy it.

Would’ve added a whipping to the ends, It would’ve held better and you could’ve added the hardware at the end with no problem. Just my 2 cents. Great video!!

Tip If you have one or two strands that you can’t get through the charm bail, cut them with about an inch left of the thread/cord and then pull the bail through to the opposite end and it will go through and be released once the end is out of the bail.

You can also burn the ends to additionally avoid fraying if you are safe to do so.

I saw this and I just know it’s way out of my skill level, I’m never good with having to do put strand a over e & f, wrap strap b twice around j….
😂 but, it looks lovely and I’m envious but I know my limits 😁 particularly when I need to teach it too. In this case I’m sending the bits needed to family in Ukraine so we can have an online ‘craft class’ get together with family and any of their friends or neighbours. I used to teach in a school and have helped friends out over covid when they couldn’t get enough staff to cover online lessons. I did post out a few craft kits to the children, think they liked getting the post to them, for art lessons. But teaching adults online is new.
If I can’t master braided bracelets no problem, I’ll admit defeat and do something else 😂🌻🇺🇦🌻🇺🇦🌻
