Transferring billing ownership to another account provides the administrators in the new account permission for billing tasks. They can change the payment method, view charges, and cancel the subscription.

hai can u please help me out on one thing that actually i took 1 month free subscription and it was completed. For the renewal i took new credit card and new account for free but i cant able to create new free account and i'm gettng an error message that you are not eligible for free account. can u please help me out on this.

Azure Migration from one Tenant to another can happen.

1) Need to export configuration of every Individual resource

2) Migration will happen of all resources in subscription

3) Billing ownership should be in place of Target tenant before Migration. Then only we can see the Target tenant while migrating

4) Export all User identities

5) Export all Role assignment

6) Export all System user identities

7) Export all User identities

8) There will be DOWN Time of all resources in an Subscription that is migrated

9) Vnets and NSG, Existing AD authentication resouces cannot be migrated. They should be in place before migration

10) All the dependencies of Storage Accounts, Disks, VM, SQL Managed instances, API, Api management services, Webapps, Functional Apps, Logic Apps should be captured.

11) Once Migration is initiated cannot be Rolledback - There is No backup plan in place.

Important - Inspite of we performing this Tenant to Tenant migrations. We can reach Microsoft Azure support team and ask for SWITCH service.

This SWITCH process is done at Microsoft end without any Downtime. All the above dependent services listed above will be Migrated without any issues.


This SWITCH option is not available for end user in Portal or CLI.
