Introducing Small Talk, our new series of interactive events in live streaming. Each episode will feature one of our experts and we’ll have an informal chat on their area of expertise.

This time we talk with Scott Wlaschin, author of a book and a workshop titled Functional Programming Made Functional.

Small Talk is a chance to go behind the scenes of our experts' work and get a sneak peek of what their workshop will be about and, as usual, you’ll be able to join the conversation by asking questions from home.
Always wanted to ask a trainer that burning question about what they do? Now you have a chance!

We’ll discuss the origins of Scott's book, why DDD and Functional Programming work well together, what type of exercises we’ll be doing in the workshop, how opening a blog can be a great asset, Scott's first approach to DDD and much more.

Did we say it already? You’re encouraged to be part of the conversation and ask questions during the live streaming through the chat provided by YouTube.

When: Friday 22nd October, from 3 pm CEST

My Operations Research professor first question in the first lecture was: “What is mathematics?”
The answer: it’s a language for building models.
Why on earth kids/teens don’t think this is nature of mathematics after so many years studying it is a painful unknown.
