Ooo, I'm so glad you did a video about this!
Funnily enough, a year (or so) ago I based my A-level coursework around this very topic. I wrote an article on the representation of Disney Princesses and the bad image they seem to get. I actually mentioned a variety of your points in my own writing! 
People often miss the little (but important) traits and stories behind our princesses.

I wasn't allowed to watch Disney films until I was 11 because my mum didn't want me seeing discriminating/sexist views of woman (except Mulan I was allowed to watch that) But now I'm allowed to watch them they're definitely a very important part of my life. The characters are all so real and it's easy to relate them to people in your own life. They teach us lessons whether they be good or bad you and always finish watching them a little wiser or a little happier!

An hour or so ago I was hit the magic that is Disney and desperately wanted to go to the parks after watching Disney tags despite only arriving back from Disney land Paris 3 weeks ago. I decided to re-watch yours and Pete's Disney vlogs seeing as I'm unable to go there myself at 00:28. Being freshly reminded of how magical the whole thing is, I suddenly realised that was the last time I'll be at Disney with my family and it'll be AT LEAST 3 years until I can go back (I'll be 17 then) but probably longer due to money!! So yeah, I'm an emotional wreck right now and cried the whole way through your video.

Merida taught me the importance of humility! She and her mom had equally important things to say and learn from each other, but until they both put their pride and need to be heard aside, nothing productive happened. (That and she reminded me how much wise moms rock. I saw Brave in the theaters with my mom and we cried together at the end.)

"Find New Hope"- my reasoning on this title for the series stems partly from a quote from Cinderella, and partly as an homage to all of us Hopefuls. The quote is "With each dawn, she found new hope that someday her dreams of happiness would come true." For me, Disney helped shape me into a dreamer with endless possibilities. Hope is what makes Disney so magic. Hope is the connection to every person on the planet. And hope, is what you endlessly supply to all of us.

I know that she may not count as a Disney princess, but my favourite character is Esmeralda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and she taught me to always stand up for those who cannot stand up for themsleves and to not be a bystander in life.
