Actually armament haki does become visible when the user reaches a certain capability which is quite low as if it wasn’t visible then there would be no point to intricate designs like his markings and eye shadow

If you have Haki u can see it’s . But this is how it looks to the villagers and stuff and weak ones, it makes it clear people can see it right off bat in fight 50+ times in the anime if they also have haki or “strong”
