I am neet aspirant I wanted to pursue engineering if I wont get mbbs government clg . But now kcet result will come first and counselling and all will finish before neet exam . In this kind of situation students lose there hope on neet.

Don't worry guys..be positive..there are high chances that it will be postponed.. because the case has been filled..and most of the time in these situations the decision comes in the favour of students

Government want to check about the students who and all wrote sslc exams, from 8lakh students atleast 5000-10000 random students wanted to test #covid19 then we know the results of safety measures of government about exams but government has not done this to know #sslcexams after this, tht tim low cases & Nw the cases has been increased to lot

See everyone I will give good and bad news
Good news- telegana state same thing happened NSUI filed case regarding conducting TS EAMCET 1 day before exam they postponed it under the order of the honorable high court of telegana
Bad news- same thing happened in Karnataka for sslc. That time it wasn't NSUI and all but some parents ig. High court said that "we don't have much grasp about education and what should be done, that is under the state government as everyone is given equal rights ( ie if someone is tested positive they can give supplementary and it will be considered as Normal exam) and the guidelines seemingly covered all points
The case was moved to supreme court later and a week before SSLC supreme court said "the state seems to be well equipped to tackle the situation, all students are given equal opportunity and the guidelines show the concern of the state" SC ruled against postpone or cancel

Now what is pros and cons for us-
PROS-
* Karnataka cases during that time was less BUT still they got 32 symptomatic patients
* Everyone is not granted equal opportunity actually IF some student is in critical condition how will he go to centre to write exam? Even if given ambulance, what if his condition nis really unstable? Also no covid student will be in mental state for writing exam (would need a psychiatrist to prove the statement)
* The cases are sky rocketing and safe transportation is NOT viable
* Students cannot necessarily report they are from containment zones
* Not everyone is symptomatic

CONS-
* Regarding TS EAMCET the court CANNOT use that case as a reference because the main point there was there was a lockdown being planned BUT here in Karnataka NO district has lockdown but I'd they plan lockdown suddenly postpone chances increase from 5% to 99%
* The Karnataka hc had earlier declined to interfere in the education matters of state . Will it interfere this time?

In the end chances are there but slim. If the court agrees to listen to the whole case there are chances or there is none.

There is no clear reason why it should be held in July...it's not like v are gonna get admissions just after KCET students are still going to write NEET and JEE.... moreover colleges are closed....there is no reason to risk lacks of students life... KCET is completely different from puc it decides the fate of many students...why take risk in this??
