The PG Eva-Unit 1... The kit that is notorious for its _problematic_ rubber parts. It definitely was a bad idea for Bandai to go this route and well, I'm glad we have the RG as a non-biohazard alternative.

I’m just glad mine didn’t smell like that nor had and mold. Yes it is a pain to build but it’s not impossible and the end result is worth the journey in my opinion.

It took me almost HOURS to get that suit on. A true nightmare of a kit. I made a YT video of the build and completely cut that part out lol it was my first PG build so it was definitely an experience.

Size, proportions and shoulder lights are super dope, but I went with the RG cause the rubber body suit seemed doomed to fail lol

It's wild it took Bandai until the RG kits to realize rubber parts were more trouble than they're worth. The Rebuild model kits still had it on their arms and yes, it looks nice to not see elbow joints... But damn, the articulation took a huge hit. I can't even bend my EVA-01's elbows to a good 90 degrees.

That kit looked amazing, but becouse of its age, even on the reprints, the joints and parts suck so bad

Esta es la mejor figura extremadamente real y fiel a eva01 de la serie TV es un 10/10 realmente perfecto absolutamente todo.
Pero al mismo tiempo es la PEOR figura artículable, la gran decepción ante una figura extremadamente agradable de ver y nostalgico.
