Classic Shure Green Bullet!🎙🎵
You know how I start the week here, and this time I have a classic early Shure Green Bullet. The original Controlled Reluctance element is dirty but also warm and round, for a fuller tone. Now available on the BadAss Harmonica site - love you all and hope to see some of you soon!

I have collected, rebuilt and restored thousands of vintage blues harmonica mics and bullet microphones, including Astatic JT-30, Astatic T-3, Shure Green Bullet, 707A, Turner bullet mics and many more.

Some of my favorite players who I studied are: james cotton, big walter horton, little walter, papa lightfoot, george harmonica smith, junior wells, sonny boy williamson, william clarke, kim wilson, rod piazza, steve guyger, jim liban, rick estrin, jason ricci, ronnie shellist, adam gussow, and many more...

Do you get feedback with some of them while others aren't much of a problem?

Yeah, boy. The ultimate microphone. I have the element and an old 520 shell but not together and all original like here. The faded paint just makes it even better. Of course you blew fire out of it like I knew you would.

Yeah the mic's paint looks a little chipped off, but you can't judge a book by its cover. I'm personally not a fan of the Chicago sound, but I still respect it just as much as anybody else. The old school radio mics like the Green Bullet and the Astatic line sound like they would go great for a lo-fi sound because of the vintage telephone-like tone they have. I prefer to play with vocal and general instrument mics, but nothing sounds more amazing than somebody using a Green Bullet with a mellow sound.
