Seems like he should just sell the book on its own.

Where can I find? ...
This looks like a great receiver setup. I am a pilot who is NEW to SDR and am asking for help to find out the best way to connect the voice input received by the device into voice recognition software on the PI using the Python PiAudio library. I want to be able to call the receiver at my grass strip airport to command the PI to read the wind direction and speed from a weather station and broadcast the information back to me. (Airband in North America, the spectrum from 118.000 to 136.975 MHz is used with 25 kHz spacing and AM). Instead of voice comands, I could - lets say - click my aircraft radio transmit button 5 times. The RTL-SDR would have to know how to count the transmit clicks. I have no idea how that works.
Any help appreciated. Thanks!

I want to control a VGC VR-N9500 via a Raspberry Pi with an application other that the recommended Chinese software: HT (Android) or BSHT (iOS).

Something like OmniRig, etc. I want to accomplish something similar to putting a PAN adapter on an IC-7100.

I am curious to get one of these running my radio station.

it’s kind of funny / sad that it’s a raspberry pi kit without the raspberry pi.
i coincidentally happen to have everything in this kit from separate independent purchases, except for the book.
might be interesting as an e-book, so i do not have to buy what i already havejust for the book.

I’m sure it was a slip of the tongue but Bullseye is the latest Raspberry Pi OS Matt.
