This almost made me cry. I did this with Salt Creek and Cathedral Butte as the end point. We repelled into Canyonlands from Hatch Point and we were there for three was on an Outward Bound Course and we ended with a 13 mile half marathon to a place called Duggout Ranch(spelling). It was 1979 and I was 21. Thanks

Great job on this video! When did you do the actual hike? I was just at the Upper Salt Creek Canyon trailhead last weekend (4/15-17/11) - did the day hike to Big Ruin and back and there was no snow anywhere near the road. You captured some terrific scenery.

Just came across your video while researching my trip to Canyonlands. You did a great job with the video and the hike! I'm not up to a four day backpacking trip - to old :-), but I hope to knock off several of the major trails that are on my "Bucket List." Peekaboo, The Joint, the Trail around Chesler Park and Druid Arch. Anything else I shouldn’t miss in your opinion?
I take photographs and have a little Flip Video, so these day hikes will take me all day, but no time restraints. Thanks

What program are you putting this together with? I've just started doing things like this and I'm pretty green (at the video making, not the hiking). I'm using Windows Movie Maker, which won't let me adjust music volume when there's a video rolling.
