This was about the time the rebirth of country music started to die, 1990 - 1995 were some of the best years to be a country music fan in this era. Two legends of country gracing the Opry stage, never to be seen again like this, I cherish these clips.

good to see George and Porter together..22 years earlier when the Opry was still in the Ryman George had been drinking and taking diet pills he thought Porter was having an affair with Tammy so when he saw Porter go into the men's room George followed him and asked if he'd been having an affair with Tammy ...Porter didn't answer so George grabbed Porter's tallywhacker and twisted it....Porter tinkled on himself and had to change Nudie outfits so Ernest Tubb took his place...if y'all don't believe me look in George's book I lived to tell it all...I don't know what chapter or page it's on
