whats ur favorite binding on the optimistic board! im literally the same height and weight as you and i bought a 151 they didnt have anymore 154s on the cheaper website i was looking at and im in the northeast where there isnt much pow, i just wanna cruise and carve the mountain free ride and be able to hold off chatter easy, i was wondering a couple of your personal recommendations and also which “now” brand binding did you like best on it thanks!

The first thing I check is the weight. I want light gear, especially bindings. Many people just don't care but to me is really important.

Second, screws. I hate exposed screws lol. They always loosen after some weeks. And I mean, they loosen at every run and it's a pain in the ass. That's why I love tool-less screws because they have got that block system.

Also the Now bindings are the only ones that really made me nottice a change in my riding. I don't love them for everyday all mountain and groomers, but I love thel for powder, because they are so responsive.

I miss more adjustablity options for the ankle strap in all brands though, like being able to have it higher or lower.

Regarding Nidecker, I am very curious about the supermatic. I think this next season I can try them. I guess they are heavy but that "step in" option, without sacrificing the traditional strap option can be a game changer in my opinion. Because the step on are a big no from me, for many rrasons.

Great review as always.
