Crooked believes that we need a better conversation about politics, culture, and the world around us—one that doesn’t just focus on what’s broken, but what we can do to fix it. At a time when it’s increasingly easy to feel cynical or hopeless, former Obama staffers Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, and Tommy Vietor have created a place where people can have sane conversations that inform, entertain, and inspire action. In 2017 they started Crooked with Pod Save America—a no-bullshit conversation about politics. Since then, we continue to add shows, voices, and opportunities for activism, because it’s up to all of us to do our part to build a better world. That’s it. End of mission.

My husband's twin brother died of a disease that is now vaccine preventable when they were a week old. I'm so glad my kids are nearly adults and RFK Jr isn't overseeing their vaccine schedule.

Robert did not attend medical school or train as a healthcare professional.
His studies focused on law, not medicine or public health.
Becoming a doctor requires years of medical school, clinical training, and licensing exams. Robert never went through this process.
His expertise is in environmental law and policy

He does not have the educational background or credentials one would expect of someone in his position.

He's gonna lie.
Either the study will be honest and he'll ignore it an lie about the results, or the study will be rigged and the results will be a lie.

Or, of course, there could be no study at all and he'll just SAY he found a link.

Dr. Kennedy,
first: covid deaths didn’t really matter because it affected old people who were going to die soon anyway, that’s what you’re saying?
second: the research has been done and continues and science’s findings have expanded understanding of neurological conditions overall so perhaps autism affects more people who previously may have gone undiagnosed (causing them to be denied therapies that could have made their lives better)
We didn’t used to see a lot of peanut allergies either. or fibromyalgia. or lactose intolerance.

Saying “none of the vaccines were ever studied” is such an unbelievably stupid thing to say, I have to assume he knows and is purposely lying to the American people

What does he mean on "how people parent?"

So... Is a vaccine denying lawyer really the best we could find to run our medical system?

More people are autistic because more people are getting tested and more people are getting the correct diagnosis. More women are being tested. We are no longer diagnosed Borderline personality and forced into personality disorder therapies like DBT.
Its not alarming and concerning. It's alarming and concerning that most of us were poisoned with psych meds we didn't need and side effects that destroyed our brains and disabled us. That's the only thing that's alarming. And it's lessening.

Just want to correct the man Dan is interviewing. We (in the autism community) call it neurodivergence, not neuro atypical. And arouse is not a type of person or a personality. It’s a neurotype. As an autistic person, to suggest that my “personality” is autism and that I am “atypical” is an insulting mischaracterization. I wish that PSA had someone more informed to interview about this topic.

We're in 2025, and the technology is so advanced and diagnosis are really analyzed. And so of course, there's going to be more diagnosis of autism and the different spectrums, a person can have a autism

Also Autistic screening costs over $3000 in 2019. There are no meds for Autism for whoever thinks it's a pharma conspiracy to diagnose everyone and medicate is. That's not a thing. More people are getting tested and more people are getting diagnosed. Women were not considered in the criteria until recently. My psychiatrist laughed out loud when I suggested it. Most caretakers do.

Can people sue him when their children are hospitalized or dead?

The DSM criteria expanded and people have become more aware of the symptoms and accepting of them. It's like saying there was no such thing as cancer prior to 460 BCE because that was the first time it was called cancer.

I am an autistic woman. I was diagnosed later in life at 24 because girls just aren’t diagnosed often even though as a kid I was very clearly autistic. I was misdiagnosed and wrongfully medicated. I was made fun of by peers and adults alike. Being diagnosed was one of the greatest things that’s ever happened to me. I feel so much better about myself, being able to understand why I am the way that I am. This infuriates me to no end. The “epidemic” this idiot RFK jr. Is talking about is mainly because 1) the definition of autism has broadened to encompass more types of people and 2) because more people are being properly diagnosed, like me. Older adults who don’t understand this say things like “back when I was a kid we didn’t have autistic people. We just called them crazy, or weird, or the r word. They weren’t autistic!” 😡 I am proudly up to date on all my vaccinations. Which is an irrelevant statement because vaccines do NOT cause autism. It’s so hurtful and infuriating to listen to this man spewing this nonsense. My brother is conservative and didn’t want to vote for Trump so he wrote in RFK Jr in 2024. Needless to say we don’t talk much. 😔 sorry for the long rant. If you read to this far, if you ever encounter someone who doesn’t have the correct information, please share what I just said about autism.
