I think you could check out sonic onset adventure. It's a fan game on roblox that recreates the control of the adventure games

I find interesting that no one's mentioning the spikes on Sonic are longer than the Forces model. I wonder if that means they are deciding to market Modern Sonic in that style again..and perhaps the Frontiers model will follow suit.
