Hi, Where did you buy your pelmenitsa, the size of the holes and the amount of meat they are able to fit seems to be much larger than all of the ones for sale on Amazon. I'm having a hard time finding one this size, please help.

I love pelmeni, but making them by hand is so tedious on my own that I rarely make them... I just ordered a mold like yours, I think pelmeni will be on the menu more often!

Sure, the shops have frozen 'dumplings' but they never, ever, ever taste as good as homemade.

I have the press, and I take the left over dough and make some by hand. JeffMara has it right about freezing them!! you want to keep them as separate as possible in the plastic. lol <3 When I first made them, I thought they would end up as a mess in the boiling water, but they are hardy! I used a large perforated round-flat spoon to set them into the water. these are so delicious and a new family favorite!

It’s 15 min boiling not too long? Othet recipies says 3-4 min after they start floating

Great video. Thanks for making it. I never made or tried this, but I love trying new foods. I want to make these for sure. Please help me with tjese 2 questions.
1) Are 15 mins in boiling water enough time for the meat to be fully cooked?
2) how do you cook the frozen ones? Do I have to thaw prior or not. What is the process please and thanks in advance for your time and efforts!

Wow, that's a great way to make pelmeni! But I have some questions, like where can people get such cooking mould and is there some special way to stick dough corners harder together, or do they do this naturally? Also, is it hard to follow the mould's pattern?
