I normally prefer a maple neck but love the look and sound of the rosewood. I’d love to see the maple version with solid inlays rather than the outlines. Both sound great though.

The way I’ve always described it as that maples has a thinner, more aggressive bite while the rosewood has a less punchy attack and kind of just a rounder, warmer sound in general

I've always liked how maple looks on strats most of the time. But I also picked up a used mexi' strat and the rosewood just feels so satisfying to play and dig into it, it's butter.

Anyone else gonna comment on how awesome it was that he banged the guitars together and just moved on.... the mark of a true vet. These PRS guitars are finally tools, not meant for keeping in a vault like some of their other stuff. Love the silver sky.

I prefer the maple. Crispness, clarity and openness, while still keeping soulful sweetness. I’ve played the rosewood one and felt it was missing the high end I like in a Strat style guitar. Thanks Tomo!
