⚠️ BEWARE of this Diamond Tester SCAM!

Показать описание
Check out the OTi diamond tester by @presidiuminstruments
Beware of this diamond tester scam! This is a typical old school diamond and moissanite tester. And here's a real moissanite stone. Now watch what happens when I test it. The result shows it's a diamond. This means a jeweler could sell you a moissanite ring, claim it's a diamond, and even prove it with this outdated tester. But these testers are no longer reliable. Here's another major flaw. In many cases, when I test lab grown diamonds, it shows as moissanite. That's because these old testers rely on outdated electrical conductivity technology. Back in the day, moissanite were generally more conductive than diamonds, so testers identified high connectivity as moissanite. But times have changed. Many modern moissanite are less conductive, while many lab grown diamonds are more conductive. This is due to the inclusion of boron during the high pressure, high temperature process of lab grown diamonds. As a result, traditional testers give false readings, making them practically useless. A much more reliable tester is one that uses UV light technology like the OTi by Presidium. It accurately identifies moissanite natural diamonds and lab grown diamonds. So the next time a jeweler tries to prove a diamond is real, make sure they're using an up to date diamond tester!
