Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the capitals of the UK, France and Italy to galvanise support for his "victory plan" amid war with Russia. While the Ukrainian leader got assurances of support from most leaders, Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said that negotiating with Russia does not mean surrendering. Meanwhile, the possibility of a Donald Trump presidency in the United States continues to raise questions over the future of American support to Ukraine, especially among the NATO member states. Mark Rutte, the new chief of the US-led military alliance, said that he is not worried about the potential withdrawal of US support to Ukraine if Donald Trump is elected to power in the United States.
