Ikea Dresser to Bathroom Vanity DIY Hack #2 - LHP

In this LittleHomeProjects video I finish the bathroom vanity made from a bedroom dresser. I install a homemade wooden bathroom shelf to cover the space needed for the plumbing.
In the last video I modifed an IKEA BRUSALI dresser to replace my temporary bathroom vanity. This DIY hack saved me around $300.

You did a fab job there. Forgot to comment on the vanity video. Nice hack. Great idea. I might just nab it on ya!!! But I wouldn't have the confidence to hack it myself. It would be a fantastic solution to our small bathroom (ha! You'll think I have more than one bathroom - I have one. It's small but adequate to hold a bath) We have nowhere to put storage and a bloomin pedestal sink. Been wanting a small vanity for ages and couldn't afford to. But now.... Cheers.

I’m doing exactly the same but also covering the vanity surface with a cut off from an old farmhouse table I saved, I’m looking forward to getting it done, and I’ll also do what you have at the back of the unit. It’s a tight fit as my downstairs toilet room is very small but it will all tie in beautifully when it’s completed 👍

You can place the cover board further in and put small shelves at the end for perfumes or cream or something else you want to have that space for.

How did the ikea dresser hold up to the moisture in the bathroom?

HI, nice project and so well explained and filmed. Thank you so much and I hope you can just ignore or delete the haters.
Question....rather than making that pine shelf in the back, had you ever considered making the drawers less deep so that the pipes, etc. could fit within the cabinet? Or did your wife want to the whole depth of the drawer for storage? Or some other reason? Just curious as I'm thinking of doing this.
