I did not do a retention rate on this sluice because I am still learning how to use it. SInce the CS and Instructions were so bad if I ran a test it could be at the wrong angle etc which would invalidate the test. Plus no 6" mat shoudl ever be used as a "Catch ALL" sluice. These are only intended as a sample catcher.

So I also picked up a Dream Mat pocket sluice during the Christmas deal. I also have some of there normal Dream Mat and Mini sluice mats. They make high quality stuff, yeah the way they run there company is a little low budget but the products speak for themselves. Thanks for the review.

It really catches the gold good, i have the vortex mats and there nice. I just got a dream mat pocket sluice cant wait to try it. Crazy how that little thing caught that much and how much material was ran thru it. Great review👍

That looks like a sweet backpacker sluice! (Or home sluice).. it seems like one Must Have prospecting tool.. its like fishing jn a river.. you test/cast till you find the honey hole.. i want one... great review!
