in this video {779} Comparison between UC3842, UC3843, UC3844, UC3845 ICs, i compared practically different parameters between UC3842, KA3842, UC3843, KA3843, UC3844, KA3844, UC3845, KA3845 series current mode smps PWM controller ics. i checked frequency, duty cycle, vcc startup voltage. UC384x PWM Controller IC Test Circuit. uc3842, uc3842, uc3844, uc3845, ka3842, ka383, ka3845, 1842, 1843, 1844, 1845, 2842, 2843, 2844, 2845 is a family of pwm controller ics, which is used in different pwm controller topologies, as dcm flyback, ccm flyback, boost, buck and feed forward converter topologies. i made this test circuit i to test and verify the ic using oscilloscope and multimeter. we can check its pwm signal on dso and digital multimeter, and duty cycle as well.

Thank you for your valuable service! Great job explaining! I went from knowing NOTHING about power electronics and SMPS's, to being able to at least diagnose where the problem is. Almost ALL electronics in the world use SMPS's now, so that makes this one of the most practical electronic channels on YouTube. If you dont mind I want to ask about mosfet drived by utc3842 sometimes we find diode and low resistance in parallel to feed signal to mosfet gate the question is how that work and what the benefit of that
