Cody Lundin is a great teacher with a plethora of knowledge of the great outdoors. He was my favorite
dual survivalist. He always had a way of calm about him which I appreciated., which helped when he
was with hyped-up Teti.

I gwt that all these shows are somewhat staged and they have a support crew with them. I think less stroud probably the only real deal survival expert on tv, or at least closest to it. But i actually enjoyed this show and thought dave and cody where the best pair. They never found the majic of those two again.

my favorite on Duel was Cody & Dave they got along even though he called Cody long haired barefoot hippy the meshed untill Discovery found Canterbury lied on his application I loved their back and forth verbal banter
best real Survival show hands down bar none was Les Stroud in Survivorman great show no camera crew he did it Alone
the first Alone survival show he has youtube content watch it if you want realism and no made up drama

I always knew it was just a T.V. show. I knew they had a camera crew and all that. I watched it because I found it to be educational as well as entertaining.

Finding out the narrator was Stick Stickly was crazier then finding out Mr. Crab being voiced by the bad guy from the Highlander.

u know how to survive...by staying n ur own environment...& not goin out & gettin lost n other environments u dont no nothin bout...thats how u survive...(ive been livin n my own environment for 30+ yrs...& aint gottin lost yet...nor having to survive off mother nature when my food source is the local grocery store)...

one can't help but wonder...so who's taping them while they are on the edge of "survival"...being on edge while they have to keep a fire lit in pouring rain by the ocean in order to signal a rescue boat?! who's filming?
i do love the show though although i find the tension between cast members uncomfortable at times

Yeah I have learned a ton from this show. I loved watching Cody, Joe and Dave.

The best combination was Cody and Dave, it was fun to watch them together, and every partnership after that just got a little weaker with each pairing. Don't care what was fake or real, it's tv, I just want to be entertained and like the people on screen. By the last pairings I lost interest and stopped watching due to apathy.
