1900 outfit

Sometimes I love to hide away in my apartament, dressed up in 1900 era clothes, drink a cup of tea or coffe and relax.☕🖤
Blouse is inspired by edwardian era clothing but I added some beetlejuice wibes into it.

The women in my family were raising beef cattle in the Tehachapi mountains in CA from 1888-1930, I’d love to see what their dressing routine would have been like as rural women vs urban women from that era 😍

I read that it’s not good for the corset to tie the strings around the waist and it’s better to tuck them under the bottom of the corset around the hips. But maybe it is different when you are using a thin ribbon material? I use a thicker cord type lace and tuck it under but I do find it quite annoying.
