As a recovering addict, this song hits home hard... and I thank you for the reminder that I was once covered in darkness... and then I learned how to let go, and give it to God, and how to believe in something that very rarely proves it's existence, but those moments when I was proved wrong, and humbled, and given a new chance at life... those are the two times I dies, once physically, the second spiritually... this all over the coarse of a 9 year battle with addiction that I allowed to have more control over me than I did... all because I was chasing whatever could help fill the emptiness inside of me... when the only thing I needed was to remember that I was once ready to go see if anything is after this and If it's any worse or better,

and I said "my life is yours, decide what to do with it because I have no idea and I'm tired of always feeling empty, cold and alone, and I don't want to be here any more..."

And I gave everything including my life to God, and here I am, 7 years later after my physical death and rebirth, almost 2 years since my spiritual death and rebirth and I have come so far that it honestly scares me to think that I could fall again... but I know I won't, because I was saved and I don't want to go back to that life and now I let God use me to help others figure out that addiction is chasing something you will never find and that exists all around us but is as far away as Pluto (the now retired planet) if you don't believe it truly has the power to change lives.

Faith, belief, WILL... these are the forces in which give God it's power... if you don't believe in Yahweh, if you don't have any faith/trust in Yahweh, and if you continuously go against the will of God, which is keep your body holy, quit doing drugs, quite treating others like your personal ego boost supply.... so long as you deny God and go against God, you will reap EXACTLY what you sow.... change your heart, learn to love yourself and learn that God loves but if you want to live in hell well no one will come save you from the place you have put yourself until you decide you want to give heaven a chance and understand that yeah, it comes with a lot of responsibilities, you honestly have to try to be a good person even when you don't want to be... you have to learn to forgive people for the scumbag stuff they might do, for you once were that scumbag....

Nothing done to you is anything that you haven't done to someone else... remember that... what you push out, you will at some point experience the same, what goes around comes around... that is why pushing forward good karma is always beneficial
