FOR PEOPLE WHO GOT A M3 MAX OR M3 2023 MACBOOK PRO:

It does work, in order for it to work, you have to keep your macbook plugged into its battery charger the entire time you're using the hub, if you want it to connect to 3 external monitors. For some reason, it only works this way with M3's. Im using two HDMIs on the hub and the right built in HDMI port on my mac for three monitors. I found this out after hours and hours of trying to get it to work, without the help of the internet since there was no solution. Thank me later. J5, you need to fix the display bug!

I can not get second monitor to display, just purchased this today. The 4k HDMI port does not work entirely.

doesn't the JCD542 also need a LAN driver because when i just installed the regular driver, and tried activating, it said it could not and i followed all the steps. the video explaining how to connect for macs stated that for docking stations on a mac, to install the LAN driver first and then the Video driver, but where is the LAN driver?

Is there anyway you could put out drivers for linux or steam os ? I bought one and it works for storage and charging, but display pass through qould be nice and i think it would make a good steam deck dock alternative

I downloaded the drivers and plugged in my laptop. However, I lose sound when I'm plugged in. thoughts on this? I'm using an HP laptop.

Won’t detect second monitor (HDMI on both), installed graphic driver and then tried updating firmware….all kinds of errors like missing I/O and others.

Get something else, you get what you pay for. Tried multiple HDMI cable and all work on one port but not second.
