Coaster Box Makeover - Halloween Special Edition!

Happy Halloween! To celebrate it, I thought I would do a makeover on this vintage wooden coaster box which has time warped itself out of the 70's. 😆 These boxes aren't worth anything so I have no qualms about giving it a full spooky new look. I hope you enjoy it! 🧛‍♂️
Also let me know if I should do a Christmas theme for the next box (because yes, I found another one, lol).

I grew up with one of those coaster sets at my childhood home. You’re right about them being from the 70’s. Ours was like the unfinished version you showed at the end. I used to stack the coasters up in little piles and use them for seating for my Barbies.

The "newest" coaster box looks so great! What a coincidence to have those wooden pieces fit so perfectly. 😄All the glitter is of course bonus points to no end 😂and the cat in the back are the additional bonus points to no end for me 🐈I still love the first one though, with the planets. Have to admit it's my favorite too 😄
One day I will find one of those vintage coaster boxes, so I can make it sparkle too 😂

Hi Becky, I love your boxes! I even like the yellow glitter that changes to green when the light hits it a certain way.

Yes to the Christmas box. But if you get anymore boxes, there is Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, and whatever holidays you celebrate in Australia, New Zealand, and Greece for your husband.
It is not a holiday in the US, but there is also Mardi Gras. It is celebrated unofficially throughout the US but the main event is in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Trick or treating changing colours seems perfect. You will be finding glitter for 30 more years 😂 You can sand the scratches back and make it smooth again, if you have the right tooth sandpaper. I think you need 120 grit for resin. That is what my resin teach told me to ues and it worked beautifully :)

My fave time of year is Autumn and I love All Hallows Eve too!! I seek out video's of Halloween arty stuff I just love it! This make-over was fangtastic lol, what a great project! loved all the glitter and spooky shapes, you should defo do a xmas box next even though I'm not a fan of Christmas I do love a good upcycle and kudos to you for that pain staking peeling!! :D
