I’m so tired of these stats on Shanahan without CMC. It’s so dishonest, it includes his first years of the rebuild. He also took a team without CMC to a Super Bowl and multiple NFC Championships. CMC joined a great team, he did not make them great.

I am not a 49ers fan, but that must be the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I think Shanahan might be a touch overrated (he's a top4-5 HC), but replacing him with an equally as good or better HC would be difficult at best. No team with the number of injuries that the 49ers have had this year would break any team. Bears management is no where near as good as the current 49ers owners. This just sounds like reporter rage bait. With that level of logic, you might as well go after Andy Reid or one of the Harbaughs or Payton.

Yeah the Niners nor management will make the trade, people forget the dismal existence that was the Niners before Shanahan and Lynch got to the team and now after a season when a lot of things go wrong like majority of your all star talent sits on the injury list, I'm not talking one or two I'm talking a majority of your pro bowl/all pro players and game changers, the team is going to say let's start over, no. Lynch wouldn't let that happens, it's not like head coaches like Shanahan grow on trees or come a dime a dozen. I don't think you will see the same discourse you saw when Harbaugh left, I would think York learned from that experience

I know and understand media needs stuff to talk about but why would the 49ers even entertain this? He is one of the best offensive coaches in the NFL right next to Andy Reid and people forget that Andy Reid could not win with the Eagles because he did not have Patrick Mahomes so you need a quarterback to win Super Bowls call Shanahan has made it to the Super Bowls and an NFC Title Games the Jimmy G and the last pick of the draft

Just look at the chiefs even they look tired this year. 49ers have been dominant in the NFC for past 5 years. NFC title game or Superbowl. Team is fatigued they will be great next year because they will be healthier and younger along with playing the 4th place schedule which is much easier then playing the 1st place schedule

Bears need to go get Ben Johnson but I don't think Johnson will take the bears job unless it's a offer he can't refuse and I don't see the bears making that type of offer. Most likely will go get a young offensive coach but best fit would be Ben or Mike vrebel
